I recently had this thought of a great question to ask ChatGPT and so I finally asked, “With the rise of AI(Artificial Intelligence) in art, will human art still be sought after?”
This is how ChatGPT responded and I agree:
“Yes, human art will still be sought after even with the rise of AI in art. While AI-generated art can produce interesting and unique pieces, it lacks the emotional and personal connection that is inherent in human-made art.
Human art is the result of the creativity, imagination, and emotions of the artist. It is often a reflection of the human experience, culture, and history. It can evoke powerful emotions and convey deep meanings that resonate with viewers on a personal level.
Furthermore, many people appreciate the process and craft of creating art, and value the human touch that comes with it. They enjoy seeing the imperfections and unique character of handmade art that cannot be replicated by AI.
In summary, while AI-generated art can be impressive, human art will always have a place in the world of art and will continue to be sought after for its emotional and personal connection, cultural significance, and the value of the creative process.”
ARTIST COMMENTS: The photos were all created in Midjourney AI. I used my original question as a prompt and was surprised with my results and that a couple of them actually came out more realistic than I imagined… however some came out looking like textbook images with the random words that aren’t anything… so it’s kinda weird.
