This song is called “Hamster Metal” and it is one of the songs I created for the 30 Days of AI Song project I’ve been working on for June 2023.
This one is based on one of the first images I created in Midjourney AI. I wanted to see how it would render something a little absurd… I am Absurdly Epic after all. And it came out looking pretty cool… I didn’t have to do a lot of touch ups on it which I am surprised by and it’s what makes me believe in AI images.
Since then, I’ve had a bit of trouble but I think that’s because my work just isn’t really what people had in mind when they coded AI. It’s gonna get there… but I am asking a lot.
Either way, the picture lead the charge on this one and it really made me aware of the limitations of the songr.ai software… there’s no “metal” genre for you so while the service is amazing and I’d like to see it grow… I feel like my own imagination outpaces the ability of AI on this one and I’m just a bit bummed.
I also used ChatGPT for structure with a bit of my own personal writing mojo added to the mix.
