This song is called “Alien Life” and it is one of the songs I created for the 30 Days of AI Song project I’ve been working on for June 2023.
Is it a coincidence that a song called “Alien Life” drops on my birthday?
Pretty much… this was the first song I made and I was impressed enough to think that I could make 30 AI songs to be released one per day if I just hustled a bit. Anyhow, I kinda chose the theme at random and thought I’d test out ChatGPT’s ability to write songs and songr.ai’s abilities to make songs into songs.
Both programs do a decent job with songs. I had to make a few changes and I’m honestly not sure if it was for the better… but it’s more human! I didn’t save the lyrics originally… hopefully I’ll go through and type them out by ear though… I plan too!
As for the image… originally, I used a site that could make a crude animation but I wasn’t getting the results I wanted there. Aside from an alien playing guitar, I didn’t know what I wanted but I ended up going with a simple yet stylish image I created in NightCafe AI.
