I like Dragons!
When I was a teeny, tiny human, I created a story called Dragon Island. I drew several different creatures and just imaged them in so many different escapades and ever since then I wanted to make it into a picture book… unfortunately, I wasn’t gifted with the sort of talent that allowed me to feature these ideas and creatures in the manner that I would’ve liked.
I kept the ideas through the years but never made much with them… I never felt that I could write a whole fantasy novel and while I enjoyed writing goofy and outlandish poetry, I felt that it was kind of empty without visuals. It was the same with a storybook and a graphic novel… I felt I could if software got good enough but there was no way I could make those without help… and help costs money… I don’t have much money available… especially when I don’t know if any of my work is worth anything…
I went to school for Film… CSUF’s Film program (California State University, Fullerton) didn’t exactly help me though. I don’t think it’s all the program’s fault… I’m just not great at all the film stuff… maybe art isn’t my thing… But I do have plenty of creative ideas! Or, at least, ideas that others probably don’t have!
This is what I plan to feature on this website… I mean the stories and guessing games and all that too but I wanted to start by showing off some dragons! I was never able to make good dragons… or bad dragons… I was never able to make or really draw dragons so it’s one of the biggest deals to me to use AI art for making dragons. And yeah, they aren’t perfect (More than one of these have random tendrils or extra limbs or a neck that connects and then keeps going) but they are so much better than anything I can draw and now I can show off a skilled interpretation of things my brain creates!
